Meet Your Guide

Hey new teacher friend! I’m Katie, and I’m here to guide you on your journey to becoming a more confident and effective 3rd-6th class maths teacher.

Maths hasn’t always been easy for me. In fact, it used to be my biggest source of stress and anxiety. I vividly remember struggling through my own maths homework and feeling completely overwhelmed by tests.

Those challenges taught me what it’s like to feel lost in the world of maths, and that’s why I’m here — to ensure no teacher or student feels that way again.

Teaching maths can feel like an uphill battle, especially if you’ve struggled with it yourself in the past. Trust me, I’ve been there. As a former NQT who used to dread teaching trickier topics and feel consumed by lesson planning, I know firsthand the challenges you’re facing.

But here’s the good news: you don’t have to go it alone! With the right guidance and resources, you can overcome your doubts and excel in the classroom. And that’s where I come in.
